Natural Clown

Natural Clown explores a playful and shameless use of color in nature—a contrast to the darker, contemplative tones of my previous project, Chernobyl Series.

In this work, nature wears a clown’s costume—bright, bold, and a bit absurd. It’s also a reflection of myself as an artist: playful, ironic, and always with humor just around the corner.

Yet beneath the surface lies a serious undertone. We alter and manipulate nature without shame, without asking. Just like the colors in this image have been altered, so too do we color and reshape the world around us—often blindly.

This project is about that contradiction: beauty and interference, joy and consequence.
